Gary House, Indiana

When he was born on August 29, 1958, Michael Jackson moved into the modest Jackson family home at 2300 Jackson Street, in Gary, Indiana, in the suburbs of his hometown. The small residence still belongs to the family. It underwent a renovation, and today works as a kind of memorial, dedicated to Michael Jackson.
Queens Road House, West Hollywood
In 1969, for professional reasons, the Jackson family moved to California, as was the dream of Michael’s father, Joseph Jackson. In the beginning Michael, his father and his brothers slept in several hotels.
Katherine Jackson still stayed in Gary with the girls, Rebbie, Latoya, Janet, and Randy. Soon the band of five brothers, Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon and Michael, signed a contract with Motown. Berry Gordy, owner of the famous label, became a personal friend of the family, and invited them to stay at his house until he found a place to live. At the time Michael also spent time living with Diana Ross, who became one of his best friends for life.
Some time later, in November, Berry Gordy rented a beautiful house for the Jackson family, in Mediterranean style, located at 1601 Queens Road, in West Hollywood. But it didn’t last long, the constant noise of the band’s rehearsals bothered the neighbors, and the family had to move.
Bowmont Drive House, Beverly Hills
Berry Gordy then rented another house, large and spacious, to Jackson’s family, at 2430 Bowmont Drive, in Beverly Hills in May 1970. But in spite of its size it was not long before the new neighbors also began to complain about the excessive noise of the The Jackson Five rehearsals.
Hayvenhurst House, Encino
At the time, with the huge success achieved by the band, the family was already able to buy their own residence. In May 1971, Michael’s parents, Joe and Katherine, acquired a large house, with almost 1,000 square meters at 4641 Avenue Hayvenhurst, in Encino, the home that would be the Jackson family officer to date.
In 1981 Joseph Jackson decided to sell Encino’s house. Michael decided to buy half of the property, and the remainder was split between his parents. Later, Joseph also sold his remaining portion to Michael. Hayvenhurst’s house belonged to Michael Jackson and his mother. Michael then decided to make a major overhaul of the Tudor-style property, which is where his daughter, Paris Jackson, lives today.
The Lindbrook, Encino
Encouraged by attorney and friend John Branca Michael bought an apartment in The Lindbrook Condominium in May 1971 at 5420, fraction 9, Lindley Avenue, Encino. Branca thought it was time for Michael to live alone, to have his own life, his independence. But Michael had a very different life from young people his age. He declined to leave his family home in Hayvenhurst, and argued that he would die of loneliness, that people who lived alone used to go out at night, call friends for dinner, and this was a life he could not have. Michael couldn’t leave home without being escorted by security guards.
Still, he bought the property, thinking of his mother if she needed it, or wanted to separate from Joe. Katherine contributed part of the payment for the apartment. Of course Michael didn’t need it, but he accepted it, knowing that she would feel better this way, that the house was hers too. It also turned out to be useful because the Jackson had to live there when Hayvenhurst underwent a major makeover in 1981. For many years there was a ‘Jacksons’ rotation living there.
Neverland Valley Ranch, Santa Barbara
In 1983 Michael Jackson made a song with Paul McCartney, Say Say Say, and was completely in love with the location where her video was recorded. A beautiful 2700-acre ranch, located at 5225 Figueroa Mountain Road, Los Olivos, Santa Barbara County, in Santa Inez Valley. The lush natural beauty of the place charmed Michael, and he spent years negotiating the purchase of the property.
In 1988 he finally managed to buy the ranch, and renamed it Neverland Valley Ranch, named after his favorite character, Peter Pan, created by James Matthew Barrie, and immortalized in the Walt Disney movie. Michael Jackson has transformed the place into an enchanted, perfect and wonderful world. A dream place for him and the children. Neverland had everything imaginable: a huge, beautiful Dutch-style farmhouse, an amusement park, a zoo, swimming pools, a movie theater, a little train that ran all over the huge ranch and much more.
Michael Jackson was the artist who contributed the most to social causes worldwide, being certified by the Guinness Book in 2001. He dedicated his whole life to underprivileged children, including terminally ill people, and saved many of their lives. Created the Heal The World Foundation and contributed to a multitude of others. He visited sick children in hospitals everywhere he went at his shows. Michael invested much of his huge fortune in the child cause. Neverland received groups of underprivileged children from all over the world. They spent the day or stayed at the ranch for a few days. Michael provided the children with moments of pure happiness that eased the pain. And better, all absolutely free.
Bahrein
Logo após ter sido absolvido pela justiça americana por acusações injustas e infundadas Michael Jackson quis passar um tempo longe dos Estados Unidos. Então ficou por um período em Bahein, na casa de um sheik com quem tinha feito amizade.
Coolatore House, Grouse Lodge, Dublin
Michael then left for Ireland to record with musicians and producers Will.I.Am and Rodney Jerkins. He spent the first few weeks living in the secluded Grouse Lodge studio lodge in the countryside, near the village of Rosemount in Westmeath County, seventy-five minutes from Dublin. Soon after he moved to Coolatore House, a Victorian mansion that belongs to the studio.
Monte Cristo House, Las Vegas
After a year and a half Michael Jackson decided to return to the United States, in December 2006, this time to Las Vegas. He rented a house at 2785 S. Monte Cristo, Las Vegas, where he stayed for six months.
Palomino Lane House, Las Vegas
At the end of the previous home contract Michael rented a new home in July 2006 at 2710 W. Palomino Lane, Las Vegas.
Carolwood Drive House, Holmby Hills
In December 2008 Michael Jackson returned to Los Angeles to produce and rehearse the This Is It tour. He rented a beautiful French castle-style mansion located at 100 North Carolwood Drive, em Holmby Hills, Los Angeles, next to Beverly Hills, where he lived until June 2009.
